Welcome to The Coastal Ray, we’re so glad you found us!

Our story began in 2021 under a different name, when this little business started as a handmade sticker shop featuring Emily's digital artwork. At the time, Emily was chasing trends, experimenting with styles, and exploring all the creative paths that felt exciting. What started as a small artistic outlet quickly became something much more meaningful.

The heart behind The Coastal Ray has always been family. Emily started this business with the dream of being able to stay home with our boys while still doing something creative she's always craved.

For over five years, we’ve loved being part of local art shows , big and small, connecting with our community and sharing what we create.

In 2024, everything changed, thanks to a very determined Josh. For Emily's birthday + Mother’s Day, he surprised Emily with a 3D printer. We’ll be honest… Emily didn’t think it was a good idea at all. But wow, is she willing to admit she was wrong.

That single printer sparked a whole new creative world. Within a year, one printer turned into eight, and our business grew faster than we ever imagined. Today, we work with many amazing local small businesses to create fun, unique 3D printed items tailored specifically to their needs.

What we love most is the freedom to create. Whether that means decor, functional pieces, whimsical designs, or just something that makes you smile. No two days (or prints!) are ever the same.

While The Coastal Ray started with one person and one big dream, it has now grown into a true family operation built on creativity, flexibility, and a whole lot of love. Our journey has grown even more hands-on as we host pop-up build-your-own events and parties, giving everyone the chance to create something uniquely theirs.
